TEDxSeremban Youth is a locally organized, independently licensed TEDx event dedicated to amplifying the voices, ideas, and aspirations of young people. Held under the global TED initiative, TEDxSeremban Youth embraces the spirit of "Ideas Worth Spreading" by creating a platform where youth leaders, innovators, creators, educators, artists, and changemakers can share ideas that inspire action and shape the future.

On 2 August 2026, Seremban will host its inaugural TEDxSeremban Youth event under the theme "The First Spark" .The theme celebrates the moments that ignite curiosity, courage, creativity, and purpose. The first spark is not always a flame. Sometimes it is a quiet glow, a new perspective, an unexpected idea, or a simple action that illuminates possibilities and inspires meaningful change.

TEDxSeremban Youth aims to encourage critical thinking, creativity, leadership, and self discovery among young people while fostering conversations around education, science, arts, culture, technology, social impact, personal growth, and the future of our communities. The event provides a stage for inspiring stories and powerful ideas from individuals who have transformed challenges into opportunities and passions into purpose.

What makes TEDxSeremban Youth unique is its focus on emerging voices and relatable role models. The event brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds who have demonstrated resilience, creativity, and innovation in their respective fields. Every talk will be professionally recorded and uploaded to the official TEDx Talks YouTube channel, connecting local ideas to a global audience of millions.

Organized by a dedicated team of volunteers and supported by community partners and sponsors, TEDxSeremban Youth seeks to inspire the next generation to believe that every meaningful journey begins with a single spark.

TEDxSeremban Youth Ticket Sales – Terms & Exclusion Clause

By purchasing a ticket to TEDxSeremban Youth, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event is officially cancelled or postponed by the organizer.

2. No Responsibility for Third-Party Losses

TEDxSeremban Youth and its organizing team shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from travel, accommodation, or other related expenses made by attendees.

3. Program Changes & Speaker Lineup

The organizer reserves the right to change the event schedule, venue, and speaker lineup without prior notice. Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to refunds or compensation.

4. Event Disruption (Force Majeure)

In the event of force majeure or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control (e.g., natural disasters, health crises, government restrictions, or technical failures), TEDxSeremban Youth reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event format (including switching to a virtual event). No refunds will be issued unless explicitly stated.

5. Limitation of Liability

By attending TEDxSeremban Youth, attendees agree to release TEDxSeremban Youth, its team, licensee, and associated partners from any liability for personal injury, property loss, or damages incurred during participation in the event.

6. Ticket Validity and Entry

Attendees must present a valid ticket (digital or printed) for entry. The organizer reserves the right to deny admission to individuals who fail to comply with event rules, present invalid or forged tickets, or behave inappropriately.

7. Photography, Videography & Media Release

By entering the event venue, attendees grant TEDxSeremban Youth the right to photograph, film, or record them. These recordings may be used for promotional, educational, or archival purposes. If you wish to avoid being recorded, please notify the organizer in advance; however, complete exclusion may not be guaranteed.

8. Code of Conduct

TEDxSeremban Youth is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for all participants. Any attendee who violates this standard may be removed from the event without refund.

9. Resale Prohibition

Tickets may not be resold for profit or transferred at a premium. Any ticket found in violation may be cancelled without refund, and the holder may be refused entry.

10. Data Privacy

Personal data collected through ticket sales will be used solely for event communication and management in accordance with data protection regulations. Information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
