TEDxSeremban is a locally organized, independently licensed TEDx event held in the vibrant city of Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, under the global TED initiative. Rooted in the spirit of “Ideas Worth Spreading,” TEDxSeremban brings together inspiring thinkers, influential creators, industry leaders, and change makers to share thought-provoking ideas that challenge, inspire, and ignite meaningful conversations. On 2 August 2025, the city will host its first ever TEDx experience at the Auditorium, Mawar Hospital, Seremban — a milestone event for the community.

The event aims to inspire innovation and critical thinking, empower local voices, and spark community dialogue around topics such as science, culture, leadership, technology, arts, and social impact. By providing a platform for both Malaysian talents and global minds, TEDxSeremban connects the local community to the global TEDx network, fostering ideas that resonate far beyond regional borders.

What sets TEDxSeremban apart is its diverse and influential speaker lineup from technologists and chefs to comedians and cultural leaders combined with its powerful global reach. Each talk is professionally recorded and uploaded to the official TEDx Talks YouTube channel, with over 45 million subscribers worldwide. Organized by passionate volunteers and supported by visionary partners, TEDxSeremban is a community driven initiative with lasting impact.

TEDxSeremban Ticket Sales – Terms & Exclusion Clause

By purchasing a ticket to TEDxSeremban, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the event is officially cancelled or postponed by the organizer.

2. No Responsibility for Third-Party Losses

TEDxSeremban and its organizing team shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from travel, accommodation, or other related expenses made by attendees.

3. Program Changes & Speaker Lineup

The organizer reserves the right to change the event schedule, venue, and speaker lineup without prior notice. Such changes do not entitle ticket holders to refunds or compensation.

4. Event Disruption (Force Majeure)

In the event of force majeure or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control (e.g., natural disasters, health crises, government restrictions, or technical failures), TEDxSeremban reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event format (including switching to a virtual event). No refunds will be issued unless explicitly stated.

5. Limitation of Liability

By attending TEDxSeremban, attendees agree to release TEDxSeremban, its team, licensee, and associated partners from any liability for personal injury, property loss, or damages incurred during participation in the event.

6. Ticket Validity and Entry

Attendees must present a valid ticket (digital or printed) for entry. The organizer reserves the right to deny admission to individuals who fail to comply with event rules, present invalid or forged tickets, or behave inappropriately.

7. Photography, Videography & Media Release

By entering the event venue, attendees grant TEDxSeremban the right to photograph, film, or record them. These recordings may be used for promotional, educational, or archival purposes. If you wish to avoid being recorded, please notify the organizer in advance; however, complete exclusion may not be guaranteed.

8. Code of Conduct

TEDxSeremban is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for all participants. Any attendee who violates this standard may be removed from the event without refund.

9. Resale Prohibition

Tickets may not be resold for profit or transferred at a premium. Any ticket found in violation may be cancelled without refund, and the holder may be refused entry.

10. Data Privacy

Personal data collected through ticket sales will be used solely for event communication and management in accordance with data protection regulations. Information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
