The Space Between

What is it?

The Space Between is a full-day, immersive experience designed for young people ages 11-14 navigating one of life's biggest transitions. It's the bridge between childhood and teenage years, where everything changes and a lot of big questions arise.

Why it exists:

Between ages 11-14, everything shifts. New school. New friends. Bigger emotions. A changing body. More pressure. More independence. More questions about who they are and who they want to be. This period can feel overwhelming, confusing, and isolating.

The Space Between creates a safe, non-judgmental, engaging space where young people can explore all of this with real conversations, practical skills, and genuine connection.

How it works:

The day unfolds through six interactive "spaces", each tackling real-life topics:

Changing – Understanding your body, mind and emotions

Feeling – Recognizing and managing emotions, building resilience

Asking – Finding reliable information, separating myths from facts, asking confidently

Belonging – Navigating friendships, peer pressure, setting healthy boundaries

Coping – Recognizing stress, discovering healthy ways to handle it

Choosing – Making confident, safer choices aligned with your values

Each space combines activity, game, movement, discussion, and meaningful conversation—not lectures.
